Today is Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Remembrance Day.
Tonight at 7pm I’ll be leading an evening service in which the prayers of our daily liturgy are interspersed with poems arising out of the Shoah. Many of the poems we’ll be reading were written by people who experienced the Shoah. A few were written by the descendants of Shoah survivors.
I hope that those who are able will join us tonight for this service of prayers, poems, and remembrance. But if you’re not able to be there this evening, and would like to read the poems on your own, here they are: YomHaShoahPoems [pdf]
May the memory of all who endured the Shoah be a blessing.
